The nanometer features imparted directly onto our fabric create a shimmering effect by causing incident light to diffract and produce dynamic colors.

NanoChromatic has a granted US patent and pending foreign patents protecting these fabrics regardless of the technique used to form the nanometer features.

NanoChromatic has separate but similar patent coverage for the techniques that we have chosen to use initially. We also have corresponding foreign patents pending.

The relevant issued patents are US 6,120,710 and US 5,882,770.

Prior to NanoChromatic’s breakthroughs, holographic fabrics used only laminated plastic films. These films look shiny, feel rubbery, and do not breathe.

Our technology retains the original fabric comfort, glamour, appearance, and appeal.
